Over 1000 Cantabrians have turned out today to protest a controversial water bottling plant and to call on the Government to speed up its Resource Management Act review that is currently underway.
It comes after water bottling company Cloud Ocean Water, Ltd. revealed plans last month for a second plant adjacent to their existing site in Belfast.
Despite this, Environment Canterbury says they've yet to receive any application for consent from Cloud Water to start their second operation.
Protesters will march through the CBD, finishing at Cathedral Square.
