One person seriously hurt, road closed after motorcycle crash in Auckland suburb

One person has been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Auckland this morning.

Police said the crash took place about 6.05am on Highbrook Drive in East Tamaki, and it involved a car and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was the one who was seriously injured.

Police said Highbrook Drive is currently closed and motorists are advised to avoid the road if possible.
