One person in serious condition after car plunges over cliff near Nelson

A person is in a serious condition after a car plunged down a cliff in the Tasman District, west of Nelson.

A Fire and Emergency spokesperson says a helicopter has transported one patient to hospital.

A call was made to emergency services around 2pm to attend the scene at Riwaka-Sandy Bay road in Kaiteriteri.
