One person has died following New Plymouth crash earlier this weekend

One person has died following a crash two days ago in New Plymouth.

Police say the person died after being involved in a two-car crash on Friday in Bell Block, New Plymouth.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Connett Road at 7.05pm Friday.

Three other people suffered moderate injuries.

Police say the serious crash unit is investigating.
