One person dead after workplace incident at Hampton Downs

One person is dead after a workplace incident at Hampton Downs just south of Auckland.

Police say they were called to the scene by ambulance services just before 12.30pm.

According to WorkSafe, a worker died after being struck by a loader at Hampton Downs.

The matter is now with the coroner.
