One person dead after crash on SH1 north of Auckland

One person has died in a two-vehicle crash north of Auckland.

Two other people were seriously injured in the crash at around 6pm about 4km south of Kaiwaka.

State Highway 1 is closed while emergency services are at the scene.

Diversions are in place off the state highway at Mangawhai Rd and at Kaiwaka Mangawhai Rd.
