One person dead after crash involving truck and motorcycle in Hastings

One person has died, and another has been critically injured, following a crash between a truck and a motorcycle in Hastings this morning.

Police said they were called to the crash on State Highway 5, in Te Pohue, about 6am.

The road is closed while the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene.
