One person dead after car crashes into power pole in Dunedin

One person has died after a car crashed into a power pole in Dunedin this afternoon.

Police say a car is reported to have collided with a power pole on Stuart Street at around 5.20pm.

There was only one person in the car when it crashed.

The Serious Crash Unit will be investigating the cause of the crash.
