A person has died after being crushed by a tree at a semi-rural property in Waiuku, south of Auckland, last night.
Emergency services received a report that a person was trapped under a tree and police were called to the scene at 7.05pm.
Police said the person was dead upon arrival.
The death will be referred to the Coroner.
