One person has been hospitalised in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Christchurch today.
St John confirmed to 1 NEWS two ambulances and a scene manager were sent to Gloucester Street at around 8.55am following the incident.
The person has been transported to Christchurch Hospital.
Two other people were also injured following the incident, including one person with minor injuries and another with moderate injuries.
The pair were assessed and treated at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
