One person has died and two others have been transported to hospital in a serious condition after a crash in Christchurch today.
The incident occurred between a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Colombo Street and Sandyford Street, Sydenham, at around 11.10am.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised and the road has been closed with diversions in place.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area if possible.
