One person has died and another two are injured after a crash in Christchurch.
Police were called to the two-car crash on Sumner Road shortly before 11pm on Monday.
"Sadly, one person was located deceased at the scene," a police spokesperson said.
Two others were in a moderate condition.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified as police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
