One person has died and another is seriously injured after a car and bus collided on Gowing Drive in Meadowbank, Auckland today.
The accident happened about 11:30am and emergency services are in attendance.
St John has tweeted saying one person is in a serious condition, one is in a moderate condition and eight are in a minor condition.
A medic who attended the scene said the deceased was the driver of the car.
Four ambulances have been sent to the scene.

The person in a serious condition has been taken to Auckland Hospital.
The road is currently closed and is expected to be closed for some time.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
