One dead after Saturday crash in Canterbury

One person has died following a crash at the intersection of Ellesmere Road and Tancreds Road in Lincoln yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a serious crash in Canterbury just after 4.30pm.

A St Johns spokesperson said two people were taken to Christchurch Hospital, with one in a serious condition and the other critical.

The road is now open.
