One dead after crash on State Highway 2 in Dannevirke

A person has died following a crash on State Highway 2 in Dannevirke this morning.

Police were called to the crash at the corner of Otanga Road and the state highway at 5.45am.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Traffic is down to one lane as the road is partially blocked.
