New Zealand Post has given Kiwis a reminder to get their parcels in the post for Christmas as it deals with a surge in parcels from Black Friday sales.
NZ Post COO Mark Stewart said parcel volumes this year are about 30 per cent higher than the same time last year, fuelled largely by Kiwis' love of online shopping.
Extra staff have been put on to deal with the surge at this time of year.
"This year we’re expecting all records to be broken," Mr Stewart said.
NZ Post also released details of the last possible dates to send parcels in order for them to reach their destination in time for Christmas.
