New Zealand man dies after falling 15 storeys on the Gold Coast

A New Zealand man has fallen to his death from a high rise balcony on the Gold Coast in Australia.

The 22-year-old, named in media as Kiwi Liam Kearns, fell from the 15th floor of the Surfers Paradise building.

It happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious and are preparing a report for the coroner.
