New ethnic inspired menu at Hutt Hospital cooked up for patients

Hospital food isn't known for its silver service or award-winning cuisines but in the Hutt Valley, a new menu is simmering, sizzling, and boiling away.

In a bid to try and reflect New Zealand's multicultural makeup, kitchen staff at Hutt Hospital have created ethnic inspired dishes on rotation for the patients.

Seven Sharp's Arrun Soma took a taste test with lead dietitian Andrea Palmer.
