Neve's UN attendance a 'humbling reminder' world leaders must act for future generations - Fiji PM

September 26, 2018

The Prime Minister of Fiji has called Jacinda Ardern's daughter Neve's presence at the UN General Assembly a "humbling reminder" of their work for future generations.

In a tweet, Frank Bainimarama thanked New Zealand's Prime Minister "for bringing your baby girl along to the UN General Assembly this week".

"Having little Neve in the room is a humbling reminder that the world's leaders must act not for ourselves, but for the future of our children and our planet."

Neve's appearance at the UN General Assembly has garnered world-wide headlines in publications such as the BBC and the Guardian.
