A Vodafone NZ spokesperson says it looks like "impacted mobile data services are restoring".
A tweet on the Vodafone NZ Twitter account outlined the issues.
"We have just been advised of a nationwide outage affecting some customers' 4G mobile connection. The networks team are investigating this asap."
Many people have taken to social media to complain to the telco about service outages.
