The names of the two young victims in the horrifying Huntly triple-fatal car crash on Monday have been released by police.

Ruben Bense Williams, 12, and Jasper Tabe Williams, 14, died when the car they were travelling in collided with a truck on State Highway One in Huntly.

The boys' stepfather, Steven Andrew Phillips, 54, was also killed in the crash.

Belinda Williams and her nine-year-old daughter Tessa, who were also in the car, were airlifted to hospital where they both remain in a stable condition.

The deceased were all from Loganlea, Brisbane.

The coroner has completed the identification process and overseas family have been notified.
