Murder probe underway in Auckland after death of 17-year-old girl

The girl was found dead at the weekend, and police have since launched a homicide investigation.

A homicide investigation has been launched following the death of a 17-year-old girl in Auckland on the weekend.

The death occurred at an address in Buckland Road, Māngere.

Police say they have been conducting a scene examination at the address.

The victim is yet to be formally identified and a post-mortem is being carried out today.
