Mt Roskill street cordoned off after last night's fatal stabbing

A street in Mount Roskill remains cordoned off this morning after a fatal stabbing in the Auckland suburb last night.

Police were called to William Blofield Avenue just after 11pm yesterday, where a 21-year-old man was stabbed during what they say was an altercation.

Officers are speaking to several witnesses, including someone they describe as a person of interest.

Another person was also found with stab wounds, and police say they are in a serious but stable condition.
