Most watched video: 'Most of that question was incorrect' – Jacinda snaps at Simon Bridges

March 21, 2018

The Prime Minister wasn't taking any prisoners during Parliament's Question Time this afternoon.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has shut down a line of questioning by National leader Simon Bridges over oil exploration in Parliament's Question Time today.

The abrupt answer from Ms Ardern came after accusations from Mr Bridges that her Government is looking to shutdown the oil and gas industry.

"Is her government boosting business confidence in New Zealand by floating the possibility the government will make entire sectors like oil and gas disappear?

"Attacking business leaders by name and instigating wholesale reviews creating a lot of uncertainty into infrastructure like electricity and ports?" Mr Bridges asked.

The Prime Minister's no nonsense response quickly ended the line of questioning.

"Most of that question was incorrect," she said before sitting down abruptly.

There was no follow up from across the House and Question Time moved on to another speaker.
