A magnitude-4.1 earthquake has struck this morning near Gisborne, Geonet reports.
The quake was centred within 5 kilometres of Gisborne at a depth of 26 kilometres.
Geonet reports indicate it was mostly felt around the area of Gisborne, with a few scattered reports in Hawke's Bay and the Bay of Plenty.
A magnitude-5.2 earthquake was more widely felt in the same area on October 7.
