A missing six-year-old boy has been found dead by the police dive squad in Marlborough this afternoon.
Police say the boy was reported missing in the port town of Havelock at 6.30 this morning.
His body was found after a short search by the police dive squad which began around 1.45pm.
The matter has now been referred to the coroner and his next of kin have been notified.
