Meet the woman determined to make Auckland's North Shore an independent city state

A resident of Auckland's North Shore who is fed up with the local council wants a referendum to "Free the Shore" and make it an independent city state. 

Miriam Clements only needs 400,000 signatures to see her dream come true.

But what would she call this new independent North Shore, and will it have its own dollar?

TVNZ1's Seven Sharp reporter Tim Wilson took a trip over the Auckland Harbour bridge to investigate.
