Gale is an incredible woman from Te Puke whose door is never closed to those in need.
She works tirelessly for Beachaven Family Services. She’s fostered dozens of children and campaigns for safer communities.
She's also been part of the group that started It's Not OK , to draw awareness to family violence.
She has a deteriorating eye condition but that hasn't stopped her from giving time to different charities.
Which is why this week she receives $10,000 from ASB so she can make it to a wedding in America and go on a well-deserved cruise.
