The Kiwi singer’s waiata was one of a handful of musical performances at today’s memorial.

Kiwi singer Marlon Williams performed an emotional waiata of the song of Tahu Pōtiki during today's memorial for the victims of the Christchurch terrorist attacks.

Having been raised in Lyttleton, Mr Williams is a proud Cantabrian and member of Tahu Pōtiki iwi.

Taking to the stage in this morning's Christchurch memorial, the award winning singer-songwriter performed for his city, remembering the 50 that lost their lives in the terrorist attack of March 15.
