Nate Miller died at his forestry job near Tologa Bay last month, leaving a grieving family to deal with their loss.

Two weeks ago, Nate Miller left his whānau in Gisborne for his forestry job in Tolaga Bay.

Later that day, his mum received the devastating call to say that Nate had been killed on the job.

Just 28-years-old, a father and an outstanding league player, Nate had become the latest fatality in an industry that continues to be plagued with safety issues.
