Man's death in Christchurch being treated as homicide

A homicide investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Christchurch today.

The man was taken to Christchurch Hospital this morning with critical injuries and has since died, Detective Senior Sergeant Joel Syme says.

"Police have now launched a homicide investigation and working to determine the circumstances of the death."
