Two men missing after water incidents at Auckland swimming spots

Two men are missing in the water after incidents at Auckland swimming spots this afternoon.

Access to Hunua Falls has been closed while police search for one of man.

Police say he was swept into the water near the waterfall at about 2:40pm and has not been located.

Land Search and Rescue is in attendance and the Police Dive Squad will also be attending.

A second incident sees emergency services at the scene of another man reported missing in Ramarama.

Police say a man went under the water in a swimming hole off Pratts Road, and has failed to surface.

The incident was reported at 4:50pm.
