A forestry worker has died in a workplace accident near Masterton on Tuesday, police confirmed today.
Police received a call around 5pm on January 26, responding to reports of an incident in Tinui.
Despite efforts to revive the Wairarapa man, he died at the scene.
The death has been referred to the Coroner and WorkSafe.
