Man critically injured in workplace accident in Auckland CBD

A man has suffered critical injuries after a workplace accident in the Auckland CBD this afternoon.

The man was taken to Auckland Hospital after emergency services were notified of the accident at 1.55pm.

Police have said the accident occurred on the corner of Victoria Street West and Graham Street at what appears to be a construction site.

WorkSafe NZ has been notified.
