A 42-year-old man has been charged after a man was found critically injured in Hastings in the early hours of this morning.
Police say they were called following a report of a critically injured man at a Lumsden Road address, in Akina, at around 2.35am.
Emergency services performed CPR at the property but the 30-year-old man died at the scene.
The 42-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear in Hastings District Court tomorrow.
