Man charged over 17-year-old female's death in Te Puke

A man has been charged over the death of a 17-year-old female in Bay of Plenty earlier this year.

Halayna Wagstaff died in Te Puke on July 21.

Police say the 18-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter, kidnapping and assault, and is due to appear in Tauranga District Court this afternoon.
