Man charged with murder over death of Arthur Brown in Auckland's Māngere

A man has been charged with murder over the death of Arthur Brown in the Auckland suburb of Māngere earlier this month.

Police say a 20-year-old man has been charged with murder and is due to appear in the Manukau District Court this afternoon.

Mr Brown was shot on Vine Street on March 10.

This morning olice executed a number of search warrants in Counties Manukau with the assistance of the armed offenders squad where the man was arrested.

A number of firearms were also recovered during this morning's search warrants.

Police say two other people are assisting them with their inquiries.
