Man appears in court charged with sexual violation while giving massages at a Christchurch dance school

A man charged with sexual violation at a Christchurch dance school has appeared in the Christchurch District Court.

52-year-old Tangapiri Teikamata did not enter a plea and made no bail application for the alleged sexual assault in 2015.

It’s alleged the assault occurred while Mr Teikamata was giving massages at the dance school.

The Judge granted the school interim name suppression.

He’s remanded until April 12th for an appearance by video link.
