A Christchurch man accused of sharing the Christchurch shooter's live video with others has been denied bail.
Philip Arps, 44, stands accused of distributing objectionable material - namely the live stream video of the Christchurch mosque shooting.
Arps was declined bail by Judge Stephen O’Driscoll and was remanded in custody.
He will reappear at Christchurch District Court on April 15.
The Chief Censor's office has classified the live stream as objectionable, and under the Films, Video and Publications Classifications Act, those who distribute or possess it face a maximum jail sentence of 14 years.
