Man accused of murdering his two-year-old daughter Arnica Savage appears in Tauranga court

A man accused of murdering his two-year-old daughter in July has been remanded in custody.

Tewi Savage appeared via audio visual link at the High Court in Tauranga today.

In July Arnica Savage's body was pulled from the Rangitaiki River in Bay of Plenty following a five hour search.

The man has already pled not guilty to the charge and the judge remanded Savage in custody.

He'll reappear in court next month.
