A 32-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 21-year-old Rima Fernando Sikei who received fatal stab wounds in the Auckland suburb of Mount Roskill on Friday night.
The man is also charged with attempted murder. A second victim who was found with stab wounds is still in Auckland Hospital in a stable condition and a third victim sustained a broken arm.
Police have revealed the 32-year-old man was arrested on Saturday morning and say he will be appearing at the Auckland District Court tomorrow.
Police were called to William Blofield Avenue in Mount Roskill just after 11pm on Friday, where Mr Sikei was stabbed during what they said was an altercation.
Police said tonight the investigation is continuing and they would like to hear from anyone who has information which may be of assistance to the inquiry.
