Painted by street artist Askew One , the piece is going up on the side of The Dominion building in the central city.

Angus (1908-1970) was a major figure in twentieth century New Zealand painting.

The mural is based off a 1947 portrait photo of Angus.

It's expected to be finished on Sunday.
