Lime scooters to hit streets of Hamilton

Lime scooters will hit the streets of Hamilton today, with more than 200 expected to be available throughout the city.

The roll out is part of a six-month trial, approved by Hamilton City Council.

Another 400 scooters are on their way, and can be found in the central city, Hamilton east, Hillcrest and Hamilton Lake areas.

Currently, Lime scooters are only available in Auckland and Christchurch.
