Levin woman tied up at knifepoint after being woken by intruders




A woman in Levin was woken and bound by two male intruders who held her at knife point in an aggravated robbery.

Acting Detective Sergeant Dave Wilson said the men broke in to her Trafalgar Street home at 3.45am yesterday morning. 

They demanded "property" from the woman, and then fled the scene by stealing her car. 

The woman was left very shaken and is receiving victim support. 

Police have retrieved the car, but are still investigating the incident. 

They have completed a forensic examination at the home.

They would like to hear from anyone with information on the grey Nissan Murano with a registration GSU174.
