One-hundred and twenty-five years ago, New Zealand became the first country to give women the right to vote in Parliamentary elections.

Corin Dann of TVNZ1's Q+A talked to leading New Zealand feminist, Marilyn Waring, about where the fight for equal rights goes next.

Ms Waring said there had been a lot of legislative gains, but many aspects still needed to be addressed, such as violence against women, the number of women in leadership roles and unpaid work.
