A large fire has broken out in a mechanical workshop at Port of Tauranga this afternoon.
Numerous Fire and Emergency crews are now at the scene after they were called about 11.40am.
No people have been reported as injured, but a spokesperson said there is some risk to surrounding properties.
The terminal has been temporarily closed, but the building is not near to any vessels.
