Kiwi rapper Scribe granted bail on protection order breach charge

Kiwi rapper and hip-hop artist Scribe, has been granted electronically monitored bail by a Christchurch district court judge.

Scribe, whose real name is Malo Ioane Luafutu, faces a judge alone trial on December 13, for breach of a protection order.

He’s been in custody since late August after a breach of his curfew.

Luafutu will reappear in court in December, when the judge will also deal with a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
