NZ man missing Bali after trip to visit Tinder date

The family and friends of a Perth-based New Zealander hold grave fears for his safety, believing him to be missing after flying to Bali with a woman he met on Tinder.

Josh Goudswaard, 32, has not spoken to family since the 30th of October and was due to return to Perth on November 6.

He is said to have gone on holiday to the Indonesian island with a woman called Anita who he met on the social media dating site, Tinder.

Close friend, Aaron Smith posted on Facebook that it was completely out of character.

"He's been missing for 14 days now & it's totally out of character, leaving his business & staff in limbo. Phones been disconnected & not replying to emails, the last transaction on his bank statement was for a small amount registering in Stroke On Trent in the UK."

A missing persons report has been placed with the New Zealand Police and Immigration officials have confirmed he never left Bali.

Joshua Goudswaard, 32 is believed to be missing in Bali and hasn't been in touch since October 30th.
