Job advertisements skyrocketing, according to Trade Me data

New Zealanders on the job hunt might be in luck as advertisements skyrocket, according to newly released Trade Me data.

The company says the number of job listings on its site increased 22 per cent when compared to the same period last year.

The largest year-on-year boost was seen in the automotive, construction and roading, and manufacturing and operations sectors.

Auckland continues to lag behind other regions, bearing the brunt of Covid-19 impacts.
