Today Jack Tame signed off on his last show as TVNZ1's Breakfast host, after more than two-and-a-half years in the role.
He's staying with TVNZ, moving to a new role as the presenter of Q+A.
Tame's Breakfast colleagues gave him a surprise farewell gift for the big day - a chocolate cake with his face on it.
"I just want to say thank you. I have been getting up with you for more than two-and-a-half years on this show and it's been a joy and a privilege," Tame said.
"I really have mixed feelings. I'm excited about hosting Q+A. If you watch Breakfast a lot, you probably know that I really enjoy challenging politicians, but at the same time, I'm really sad to be leaving my mates here on Breakfast."
Praising the Breakfast team, Tame said: "A huge thank you to everyone who works on the show ... and, of course, you guys - Hayley, Daniel and Matty - I'll miss talking shit with you guys every morning so much."
